Although we always recommend to purchase your cruise shore excursions directly with your cruise line, but below are some of our recommended excursions we have booked previously on our own and would safely recommend. These tend do be more economical than booking directly with cruise line.

We’ve personally done this excursion and had an amazing time! You’ll enjoy a scenic boat ride to Pig Beach with a brief marina tour of Atlantis along the way. Once at Pig Beach, the guides provide plenty of opportunities to interact with the pigs and capture great photos. On the return trip, you’ll also get a 15-minute snorkeling stop at a beautiful reef — a perfect way to wrap up the day!

We’ve personally visited The EDGE Beach Reserve a few times while in Nassau — it’s a great spot! You’ll need to purchase tickets in advance and take a separate taxi to Atlantis to get there. The beach is private and includes lounge chairs, towels, restrooms, and a full bar — perfect for a relaxing beach day.

We’ve personally done this excursion, and it was a great opportunity to explore Saguenay at your own pace. There isn’t a lot right at the port, but this excursion gives you the flexibility to venture into the city and discover its charm on your own.

We’ve personally done this excursion with our family, and it was a fantastic way to see more of Ketchikan and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The guides were excellent, and the electric bikes were in great condition. We highly recommend booking an earlier time slot so you’ll still have time to explore the town before heading back to the ship.

This is a great show to experience at least once if you have some free time in Ketchikan. It’s fun, entertaining, and gives you a taste of the local Alaskan culture and humor. Definitely worth checking out during your visit!

Looking to escape the busy tourist spots like Magens Bay? Try Honeymoon Beach on Water Island! Just a quick 10-minute water taxi ride takes you to a secluded, peaceful beach with a bar and restaurant for food and drinks. It’s the perfect spot to relax away from the crowds — just be sure to check return times, as the water taxis have limited seating.
